Online Training and Macro Programme

How does it work?

Once the detailed questionnaire has been completed, PBC will review your application and will make a decision letting you know if you have been accepted or denied. Please note that online training and macro services is not for complete beginners and your application may be denied for a number of reasons. All decisions will be made with you at best interest. If your application is accepted and once the payment has been received, your coach will be working on your personalised training and macro programme. Please note that you will receive your programme within 7 business days after form submission. You will receive an in-depth video explaining your training and macro programme, how to view and record in your log book and multiple documents providing you with everything you need to know to get started.

How often do I get check ins with my coach?

You will be advised of the designated day that you will have a check in with your coach. You will need to ensure that your log book has been completed prior to this day. Failure to do so may result in termination of coaching. If your log book has not been completed, your coach is not accurately able to coach you. Any changes to your plans will be decided after your check in with your coach.

How often will I be billed?

You will be billed every month starting the day you sign up until you manually cancel your subscription.

How will my coach communicate with me?

All correspondence between you and your coach will be either via email, voice note, video.

Does this service include a meal plan telling me what to eat and how much?

This is a macro service not a meal plan. PBC does not recommend specific foods that you should be eating daily. This service encourages a flexible dieting approach as it allows you to find foods you want to it whilst managing it within your daily allowance.

Will you change my macros each month?

Your coach will review your macros each week, however, depending upon progress and adherence, they may have you stay on the same macros if progress is going well. Each check in does not necessarily mean that your macros will change as you may not need any adjustments.

What if I’m not sure on how to perform a specific exercise or I need help with my form?

You will have full access to PBC’s exercise demonstrations showing you how to perform each exercise with correct form. If you wish for your coach to review your form, please film the lift and post it in the PBC Facebook group so we can offer tweaks on how to improve.

The exercises will change each mesocycle to create new training stimulus.

What happens If I decide that Online Training is not for me?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by notifying your coach in advance. You cannot pause your subscription at this time. You can sign up with a new subscription when you are ready.

I do not have a gym membership, is this service for home gym/equipment too?

No, your training programme must be performed in a gym due to the level of equipment/ weights needed. You will be asked to provide us with a detailed list of what weights/machines you have access to so your coach can create your custom programme.

Macro Programme

Is this just a one-off macro consult or is it a monthly subscription service?

The macro programme is a monthly direct debit service and has the same principles as the online coaching. Your macros will be calculated tailored to you, you will have weekly check ins with your coach to review progress, your coach will adapt your macros where necessary and you will have full access to our support team. This service is great for someone who is already happy with their training but needs that extra accountability when it comes to their diet. We do not offer a one-off macro consult as your macro requirements are dynamic and change all the time.

How do I provide you with my details?

After you make payment, you will be re-directed to a questionnaire to fill out. Please note the information provided within this questionnaire determines what your macros will be. Please ensure that they are accurate and correct. Macros cannot be sent until the questionnaire is returned and complete.

When can I get started?

Once the questionnaire has been completed, you will be notified on the date that your macros will be sent to you. In the meantime, you will receive various documents introducing you to macros, how to use the log book and food ideas to stay on track. Your macros will be sent to you five business days following the completion of payment and the questionnaire, excluding weekends and holidays.

What happens if I sign up then I realise that tracking macros is not for me and I need a more rigid approach? Can I get a refund?

We will give refunds for consults that your coach has not begun work on. Once your macros have been sent to you, you are ineligible for a refund.
